Unless otherwise stated, Valley Food Storage is processed and packed to last for 25 years when stored properly. Opening, tampering or improperly storing food will significantly decrease the duration.

How Should I Store My Food?

It is suggested to keep your food stored in a cool, dry, and stable environment. For added protection, food pouches should be stored in a heavy-duty bucket or container.

How Our Product Is Packaged

All our products are enclosed in resealable mylar bags and include an FDA approved 100cc oxygen absorber. The oxygen absorber holds any remaining oxygen in the bag, and will continue to work when resealed after use. In using Mylar bags, we offer a lightweight, durable and shelf-stable packaging. Compared to canned food which can leach into your food over time, Mylar does not have this effect over time. Our buckets allow for protection against exposure to water, protects the bags from damage, and are easy to grab and go as needed.
